As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapy services that include assessment, treatment, program planning, evaluation and implementation, related documentation, consultation and discharge recommendations. Our primary assessment focus at Oregon State Hospital includes sensory regulation and functioning, functional cognition, functional living skills, and functional fall assessments and includes a variety of group therapy within the broad scope of OT practice. The occupational therapist assists the patients to achieve their highest level of functioning in daily living skills and performance patterns, increasing patient success for discharge from the hospital and continued success in community living.
