JOB DESCRIPTION

The Security Compliance and Technology Specialist is a highly skilled documentation and compliance professional with proven expertise in developing clear, detailed, and compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for security operations and administrative processes. Experienced in quality assurance, document auditing, and aligning materials with ISO 9001 standards, while leveraging modern technology and automation to streamline workflows. Brings strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate complex security and compliance requirements into accessible documentation for diverse audiences, from frontline staff to executive leadership. Background in corporate security and family office environments, with a strong understanding of confidentiality, risk management, and regulatory obligations. Adept at maintaining document control systems, producing supporting visual aids, and ensuring audit readiness through precise, organized, and actionable documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proven ability to write clear, detailed, and compliant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for security operations and administrative processes.
  • Quality assurance and document auditing experience to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, and the ability to align documentation with those requirements.
  • Proficient in leveraging modern technology and automation to streamline the documentation process, producing high-quality drafts efficiently for leadership review.
  • Prior experience in corporate security or family office environments, with an understanding of confidentiality, operational risk, and discretion.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — able to work closely with leadership, security personnel, and external vendors to gather accurate process details.
  • Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and audit readiness as they relate to security operations.
  • Experience developing both process documentation and supporting visual aids (e.g., flowcharts, checklists, decision trees).
  • Understanding of regulatory and legal considerations relevant to security operations (e.g., data privacy, incident reporting).
  • Skilled in maintaining and organizing a document control system with version tracking and archival processes.
  • Ability to adapt tone and formatting for multiple audiences — from frontline staff to executive leadership.
  • Experience with incident reporting documentation and post-incident review summaries.
  • This position requires up to 10% travel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years of experience in compliance, licensing, or regulatory operations—ideally in physical security, investigations, or corporate risk.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating and coordinating multi-state licensing processes; international compliance exposure
