This position is intended for a current student at McGill University who has been accepted to the Work Study program.

Hiring Unit:
Communications & Production

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor:

  • Welcomes patrons to events under the jurisdiction of Communications & Production;
  • Scans or tears tickets, distributes programs, answers general questions;
  • Assists with the setting up of bar service and distribution of beverages and clean up of receptions;
  • Enforces concert protocol;
  • Enforces fire & safety regulations;
  • Remains attentive, visible and approachable at all times.


Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

Clientele oriented; basic knowledge of classical music; professional and proactive. English and French spoken.  Available to work days, nights and weekends according to the concert schedules. CPR and First Aid is an asset.

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience

Hourly Salary:

(AMUSE B) $16.00

2 (Full time) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
