Senior System Administrator (Active Secret Clearance)

G2IT is seeking a Senior System Administrator to support client facing strategic initiatives.

Your regular activities will include:

• Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• System vulnerability remediation and reporting.
• System configuration and compliance
• Conduct high-level root-cause analysis of service interruptions and establish preventative measures.

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have a minimum Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must have CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• Experience creating deployments with SCCM and scripting.
• Experience writing reports, documentation and SOPs.
• Experience with VMWare, Linux, GPO, SAN and general infrastructure

Nice to Have:

• Experience running Wireshark and MKruntest
• Experience with VSphere
• AI Tools

Annual Salary $115k-$120k, depending on experience
