DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Participate in full software development life cycle, such as requirement analysis, design and implementation, enhancements, validation and production support. Gather business requirement analysis and propose alternative solutions to business requirements. Identify tools and technologies that are suitable for business solution. Work with product and development teams to create API which is scalable and modern. Collaborate with developers and create an integral environment. Use Continuous Integration and deployment on the code. Conduct cloud first attitude on designing and developing code. Communicate clearly and consistently on goals and objectives. Follow Agile methodologies and deliver business requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Specialist, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Specialist, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Windows; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines; NodeJS; Javascript; Shell Scripting; REST; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; GIT; Functional Testing; Regression Testing; Web Frameworks; Unit Testing; Microservices; Relational; and NoSQL.
Job Location: 880 Powder Mill Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
