Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with extensive experience in the React-based MERN stack to lead the development of our platform’s user interface. You will work closely with the product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality front-end components and optimize the user experience across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating clean, maintainable code, and a strong understanding of React and JavaScript ecosystems.

While it’s not mandatory, we would appreciate it if you could share work samples (websites/apps) that highlight your experience to help us evaluate your skills better.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead front-end development efforts using React, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless user interactions.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to implement pixel-perfect and user-friendly interfaces.

• Write and maintain clean, modular, and testable code that follows best practices for front-end development.

• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use, ensuring consistency across the platform.

• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability, using performance analysis tools as needed.

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for responsiveness across devices.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity of the overall platform architecture.

• Utilize Git for version control, managing branches, pull requests, and code reviews.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on React.

• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and front-end build tools like Webpack or Parcel.

• Hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and how they integrate with front-end applications.

• Experience with state management tools like Redux or Context API.

• Familiarity with modern front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).

• Ability to work with responsive design, ensuring applications perform across a wide range of devices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex applications.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript and writing type-safe React components.

• Familiarity with Next.js or other React-based frameworks for server-side rendering (SSR).

• Experience with modern styling solutions such as CSS-in-JS (e.g., Styled Components, Emotion).

• Familiarity with cloud deployment and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

• Experience working in an Agile environment with strong collaboration skills.
