Service Golf Manager

We're looking for a skilled Golf Service Manager to join our innovative team! This role is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of irrigation systems, in both commercial and golf.

The service tech role will work closely with the local branch. The Golf Service Manager will work closely with the Sales teams and help and support the inside sales operations at the branch. They will work with them to plan and execute the installation of products and support of services to our clients.

Industry Knowledge

• Working knowledge of basic irrigation operations from hydraulics the electrical controls.
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles. For example, Ohms law, AC/DC power.
• Use and understand digital multi meters, ammeters, wire locators ground fault equipment, and other test equipment.
• Be able to read an irrigation mechanical, irrigation, and other landscape designs/plans.
• Clean and maintain safe working conditions, vehicle maintenance and organization, and follow policy set-forth by management teams.
• Diagnose, repair, program and installation of central control components such as, but not limited to: Central Control PC’s, monitors, field interfaces, grounding, sensors and sensor input modules. Satellite/controller componentry, grounding, radio mast/towers and brackets.
• Map data collection and implementation into central control software.
• 2-wire communication, power, and other communication cabling for shorts.
• Build relationships with existing clients/contractors/consultants. Cultivate new leads and convert clients/consultants/contractors to supporters.
• Follow instruction by management team to promote a safe, healthy, organized branch.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent OR degree in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred
• Strong working knowledge of service management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver’s License, satisfactory driving record.
• Service Manager experience.
• A company vehicle will be provided.
• Able to pass criminal and driving background check and a pre-employment drug test.
