About the role

Description

 HealthActions seeks an energetic, regional office coordinator to assist Physical Therapy clinics in offering excellent administrative care to our patients.

This regional coordinator will assist in the hiring of Clinic Front Office receptionists and be responsible for ensuring they are trained in all aspects of patient case management. 

  

Clinic Front Office duties consist of: 

1. Creating Weekly Schedule

2. New patient data is entered correctly 

3. Creating Patient Chart

4. Insurance verification and precertification

5. Patient Follow-up

6. Assuring that Script dates are accurate.

7. Progress Notes are sent to physicians

8. Patient collections, Collection balancing

9. Verification of patient appointment schedule

10. Communication, internal and external 

Requirements

  This role will require

1. Consistent communication, team building 

2. Travel to all clinic locations

3. Auditing of patient charts, office details 

4. Training and maintaining staff 

5. Ensuring HIPAA compliance and Cyber Security rules 

6. HR Knowledge and compliance 

7. The development of motivated, successful teams

8. Strategic planning and decision making


 QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma. Must complete all in-service requirements and on the job training as directed by the parent company. Completes all annual in-services, orientation, and re-orientation activities as specified. In-service and skills orientation includes education for all age groups treated in the Physical Therapy Department. Must have experience with computers.

  

10. JOB EXPERIENCE:  Must have a minimum of two previous experience in Medical Office environments.

17. PHYSICAL EFFORT

Must be capable of frequent to constant sedentary to light lifting, and infrequent moderate lifting. Must be able to walk and stand on an occasional basis. Must be able to sit, drive, travel on an constant basis. Must be able to kneel or stoop on an occasional basis. Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear understanding of findings and instructions to patients, families, and peers. Must be able to reach, use fingers, feel with the hands and arms on a frequent to constant basis. Must have good corrected color vision to allow visual inspection of clients and their work to make appropriate assessments and for the safety of themselves and others.
