The General Office Human Resources Administrative Assistant shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will assist the Human Resources team with performing general clerical and reception duties. A large part of the job will include answering the phones, overseeing mail, filing/scanning, reporting drug screen results, placing orders for criminal background and motor vehicle reports, employment verifications, completing reports and assist with annual projects, and other duties as assigned.
(S)he must work well with others, have a pleasant disposition, and present themselves professionally at all times, as (s)he will deal extensively with other departments, supervisors, management, vendors and the public.
The following qualifications are required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Be proficient with and enjoy detailed work
- The desire to work well with your team and others
- Be a self-starter and able to work without direct supervision
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Be coachable and be willing to learn
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
- Manipulating/creating Excel spreadsheets
- Previous experience with data entry
Hours: Full Time, Monday through Friday (overtime may be required with management approval)
He or she will be required to sit and stand for long periods of time. Will be required to stoop, bend, and reach above the head and below the knees to file and retrieve data.
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is an hourly-paid position and reports to the General Office Sr. Human Resources Manager.
