Production Supervisor available Night Shift 7PM - 7AM

 

Compensation:

• Pay range is $71,300 to $118,800.00 annually

Responsibilities

This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.

 

The Production Supervisor is responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost for their assigned shift. They are responsible for managing labor staffing and fulfilling production orders as scheduled by the manufacturing facility planning team. Additionally, they must ensure all production data is reconciled and accurately reflects with assigned labor standards.  They must be able to work in collaboration with employees, and the management team to enforce safety and quality policies and procedures as dictated by company’s handbook. Responsible for coordinating and completing the training for new employees when Production Supervisor is not available. The Assistant Production Supervisor will occasionally perform same labor functions as the workers being supervised.

 

Job Duties:

• Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality
• Typically supervises 50 plus employees
• Coordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring & training employees
• Planning, assigning & directing work
• Appraising performance
• Rewarding & disciplining employees
• Addressing complaints & resolving problems
• Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis
• Support & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals
• Ensures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessary

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree preferred (business, engineering)
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work well in group situations
• Ability to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent manner
• Good computer skills
• SAP experience preferred
