The Global Microbiology GMP/Environmental Programs Manager is responsible for leading the development and continuous improvement of the GMP/Environmental Microbiology Control Programs to help ensure all production meets the requirements of QS 023 – Microbiological Control. The GMP/Environmental Global Microbiology Program Manager must work in partnership with the Regional Microbiologists, Global Quality as well as other key functions including Supply Chain Engineering and Operations in the development and implementation of these programs.
Responsibilities:

Leads the proactive development and continuous improvement of the Global GMP Programs including Cleaning & Sanitization, Water, Environmental Monitoring, Microbiology vulnerability assessments.

Leads the development, continuous improvement and reporting functions of the metrics program including MPI, MSI, MRSC, annual and quarterly finished product, raw material and water reports.

Works in partnership with the Regional Microbiologists, Global Quality , Supply Chain Engineering and Operations in the development and implementation of these programs.

Leads the Global Microbiology training programs (i.e. Cleaning & Sanitization, water systems, Micro Awareness, etc.) including program advancement, monitoring and delivery.

Collaborates with Global & Divisional Quality/Microbiology teams to provide input on programs, procedures and methods

Builds strategic alliances with outside network groups to stay abreast of external networks and developments to shape and improve global programs, PCPC, PMF, ISO, etc.

Supports the external manufacturer and supplier management program and internal/external audit program

Leads efforts to find program solutions to global, regional and local microbiology challenges.

Supports the regulatory team to ensure compliance.
Basic qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in a Science field (Microbiology, Biology, Pharma, Chemistry, Biotechnology or similar).
-Minimum 6 years of industrial experience (Personal Care, Pharmaceutical, Food, Environmental) This experience should include working in both laboratory and plant environments with exposure to microbial control programs.
Preferred qualifications:
-Masters degree in Microbiology or related major.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $115,200 - $163,000 USD
