This is a full-time position working on compensation and classification for the entire Kansas Judicial Branch. We have judicial and non-judicial staff across 31 districts, 105 counties and 110 court houses. This position leads the compensation and classification HR work and requires a high level of attention to detail. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and partners closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Financial Officer and court administrative leaders across the branch.

Job Duties:
- Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking studies on behalf of the Kansas Judicial Branch.
- Review available resources of relevant compensation data and conduct analyses of comparable judicial systems and other public sector employees.
- Lead procurement process and support classification work conducted by outside vendors.
- Recommend modifications in compensation and classification practices.
- Implement system updates in accordance with compensation plan changes and conduct routine audits of relevant data.
- Maintain accurate records, update internal communications sites and ensure accurate classification and compensation program date in HR documentation and systems.
- Review and analyze written information and conduct job audit interviews and observations as needed to determine appropriate classification of individual positions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze salary and compensation data.
- Demonstrated ability of innovation in the human resource space thorough knowledge of human resources systems and techniques and their practical application.
- Demonstrated effective leadership in program management and modern office procedures and practices, including computer training and experience.
- Ability to accurately maintain online informational systems such as OneNote or SharePoint.
- Ability to perform job analysis.
