Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

The Developer Platform team is at the ground floor of building the next-gen developer experience at BILL. You will be joining a team of developers who are passionate about APIs, SDKS, and tools that support BILL’s  developer community.  Your role will entail developing, enhancing, and shaping the architecture of API connectivity solutions. We are open to remote roles!

We’d love to chat if you have:

• 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Masters degree; or a PHD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience
• A deep appreciation of others' perspectives, excellent communication abilities, and a profound appreciation for the effectiveness of teamwork
• Proven hands-on skills with programming experience in Java, multi-threading, event driven architectures, REST, Data Caching Services, DB schema design and data access technologies
• Familiarity with modern web services, APIs and SDKs
• A drive and a strong passion for continual learning in the field of engineering, with a particular focus on enhancing developer support capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Fintech industry

The estimated salary  range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role.  Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

San Jose pay range$175,000—$210,000 USD

Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed below. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits. Zone 1- San Francisco Bay Area CA (includes HQ), New York City, Seattle$175,000—$210,000 USDZone 2- CA (Non San Francisco Bay Area), Austin TX, Massachusetts$157,500—$189,000 USDZone 3 -Utah (includes Utah office), Houston TX (office), Florida, North Carolina$148,800—$178,500 USD
