Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in systems administration, IT operations, or a related technical role
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems (users, services, filesystems, logs)
• Familiarity with virtualization concepts and platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V)
• Introductory understanding of middleware platforms such as WebLogic, Apache, or Tomcat
• Basic scripting experience or coursework (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to monitoring, logging, or observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus)
• Familiarity or coursework with Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience supporting enterprise or multi‑environment (dev, test, prod) systems
• Experience working within formal change management processes
