Procurement Specialist - Senior Executive

The Procurement Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing the procurement process by analyzing data, monitoring supply chain activities, and providing actionable insights to support effective decision-making. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the efficient sourcing and acquisition of goods and services, while contributing to cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.

Essential Functions required by the role: 

• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement;

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain supplier relationship management to ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Operations to align procurement strategies with organizational goals;

• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies that minimize risk and optimize cost efficiency;

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and recommend appropriate sourcing options;

• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting procurement performance metrics and actionable insights;

• Assist in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements;

• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and contracts to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies;

• Participate in the selection and implementation of procurement software tools to streamline processes and enhance data analysis capabilities;

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management.

• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or similar role, with a strong background in data analysis and procurement strategies;

• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SAP) to extract insights from complex datasets;

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus;

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; 

• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders; 

• Understanding of procurement regulations, industry standards, and best practices;

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;

• Familiarity with sourcing strategies, supply chain management, and cost optimization techniques; 

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
