EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree in a health related field with two years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Simulator, paramedic or EMT experience preferred. Medical terminology and clinical procedures knowledge preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as simulator operator by programming, testing and running scenarios with faculty instructors.
  • Sets up equipment for teaching sessions. Maintains and disassembles skills stations and trainers.
  • Organizes lab resources including on-line, media, and text items to ensure efficiency of lab. Maintains the lab in a clean, safe, and operational status. Updates policies, procedures, and safety manuals.
  • Operates and uses a variety of simulator technologies ranging from anatomic models and task trainers to full body patient simulators and virtual reality surgical simulators. Stays
