Today, Hinckley builds highly innovative, power and sailing yachts from 29 to 76 feet under the Hinckley, Hinckley Sport Boat, Hunt, and Morris brands. Nine yacht care centers from Maine to Florida complete the Hinckley offering by providing service, refits, transportation, and storage for a pinnacle ownership experience. 


Marine Boat Rigger Essential Duties

•Fabricate, install and repair ship's rigging, such as stepping and unstopping masts, antenna rigs, boat handling gear, and winch and windlass rigging.

•Installs masts, booms, hooks, swivels, shackles, electronics and all forms of lines.

•Splices wire and nylon rope to fabricate items, such as halyards, outhaul assemblies, reef lines, lazy jacks and lifelines.

•Understand crane operation and work aloft; follow defined instructions and procedures in performance of tasks to exacting degree, following hand or verbal signals when working aloft.

•Bend sails

•Survey and inspect rigging and make recommendations for replacement or corrective repairs.


Requirements


High School or GED required.

3 plus years' boat rigging experience.
