As a Senior Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Regulatory Reporting organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.

This role exists within PNC’s Regulatory Reporting department and is primarily responsible for the smooth operation of PNC’s Axiom Regulatory Reporting system, with a focus on the FR Y-14M and 14Q schedules. These schedules provide regulators with detail on PNC’s various loan portfolios and are large data submissions, with some containing millions of records and hundreds of fields. As such, candidates considering this role should have an interest in both finance and in working with large volumes of data.

This role is an opportunity to navigate the multi-faceted regulatory landscape while partnering with experienced technology partners and diverse line of business contacts within PNC. You will partner closely with various areas within Finance, Operations, Technology, and Treasury. Responsibilities will grow and change over time, but duties and responsibilities will include the following:

•Work with Technology teams to ensure the stable operation of the Axiom Regulatory Reporting system
•Identify defects, resolve issues, coordinate releases, and test defects/system changes.
•Interpret regulatory guidelines and convert into project specifications for data infrastructure, process automations, and reporting to fulfill regulatory requirements
•Draft project specifications for data mapping to automate integrations of financial and operational data from multiple data sources into data warehousing solutions
•Leverage SQL, SAS, and Python data warehouse solutions to prepare data sets for automation, internal stakeholders and regulatory submission
•Leverage project management platforms to submit project specifications for system enhancements and monitor system development progress as it moves through the software/data engineering lifecycle
•Participate in testing of reports, automations, and data warehouses, validating system requirements and data integrations meet project specifications, while maintaining high data quality
•Partner with risk, audit, and governance partners to ensure effective controls development and implementation within reporting processes and data warehouse solutions

• Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
• Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
• Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
• Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
• Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
