About the role
Shuttle Attendant Team Member – Job Description
Pay Rate $17.00 p/h (5 days of paid vacation after 6 month)
Schedule:
1st Shift Team Member: 07:00 am to 04:00 pm
2nd Shift Team Member: 10:30 am to 07:30 pm
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist passengers as they board and exit the shuttle bus
- Queue staff in line
- Communicate with the driver as needed via radio
- Understand emergency responses and make decisions in emergency situations
- Help with finding staff vehicles
- Control staff parking
- Assist with staff staying in designated areas
- Communicate walking path with staff if they want to walk to JPMC
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit
- Provide information and directions as needed
- Monitor passenger behavior and address any issues promptly and professionally
- Assist with luggage or belongings as required
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bus interior
- Support the driver with boarding procedures and emergency protocols
- Report incidents or maintenance needs to the supervisor
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must present well
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to understand English/Spanish
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Physically able to assist passengers and handle luggage
- Dependable, punctual, and attentive to safety protocols
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or transportation role preferred
