Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Electrical Engineering college new hire in Dallas, TX.
The successful candidate must demonstrate highly innovative approaches to resolving difficult production and design issues.
This candidate will be responsible for the following actions: assisting production and development teams, resolving technical challenges, incorporating engineering changes, updating drawings and assembly parts lists, and developing new designs or tools.
The candidate will support hardware operations and may provide support to engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations, as well as supplier support.
Basic Qualifications
*Pursuing a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar degree.
* Proficiency with with schematic capture & PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
* Experienced with simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, NI Multisim, MATLAB, Simscape, etc.)
* Hands‑on experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, signal generator, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, etc.)
* Demonstrated successful group collaboration and/or individual project work, ideally in electrical or design areas.
* Basic programming experience (C/C++, Python, or embedded C).
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, work with system integration issues, design challenges, etc. demonstrated through hands-on experience.
* Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Desired skills
* Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* Exposure to a laboratory, design, or testing environment, engaging with hardware hands-on including: soldering, bread boarding, prototype assembly, or similar.
*Experience with signal integrity design tools, such as Hyperlynx.
* Microelectronics experience at the transistor level.
* Experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex electrical systems, including analog and digital circuits.
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as IPC, IEEE, VITA, and MIL-STD.
* Experience with Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or similar tools.
* Strong understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) principles.
* Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles.
