Job Summary
This Material Program Manager (MPM) role is responsible for managing supply chain tasks in support of production contracts. As an MPM, you will be the liaison between the program and the supply base, working to ensure material requirements are met for a franchise production program. Key responsibilities include the following: development and implementation of material strategies, developing material forecasts and estimates at complete (EACs), ensuring suppliers meet cost and schedule requirements, evaluating metrics to monitor the health of the supply base, supplier assessments, and developing or supporting customer proposals/ROMs.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
EVMS certification and/or prior CAM responsibilities
MPM Level 4 and/or PM level 7 certification
Master’s degree in business and/or project management
Demonstrated experience in managing suppliers or projects
Experience leading or driving results in a cross-functional team environment
Experience in supplier or contract negotiations and/or conflict resolution
High degree of financial acumen, the mechanics of strong supplier negotiations, and how to influence an acceptance in execution of cost reduction opportunities.
Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, MS Project is a plus)
Experience with SAP/PRISM
Experience with participating or leading CORE improvement projects
Knowledge/experience with FAR/DFAR requirements, specifically as they relate to procurement and sub-contract management
