Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care | PART-TIME | Livonia, MI

Location: 37595 Seven Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152 Cross Streets: 7 Mile Rd & Newburgh Rd
Status: Part‑Time
Schedule: Minimum Shift Requirement is 4 shifts per month.  12‑hour shifts; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM -- 8:00 PM, seven days a week\ occasional weekend shifts and holidays are required
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)  Benefits: Sick pay, paid malpractice and 401K eligibility   Position Summary We are seeking a Part‑Time clinician to join our team in Livonia, MI. • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

  Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Michigan license
• Board certification as applicable
  • PA: NCCPA certification
  • NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
• Active DEA license 
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification - willingness to obtain highly desired (fees covered)

  Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
