Status: Part‑Time
Schedule: Minimum Shift Requirement is 4 shifts per month. 12‑hour shifts; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM -- 8:00 PM, seven days a week\ occasional weekend shifts and holidays are required
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Benefits: Sick pay, paid malpractice and 401K eligibility Position Summary We are seeking a Part‑Time clinician to join our team in Livonia, MI. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care environment. Our full‑time schedules are designed, so clinicians are off more days than they work. You'll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real‑time guidance and mentorship. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low‑acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up. Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
- Active, unrestricted Michigan license
- Board certification as applicable
- PA: NCCPA certification
- NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
- Active DEA license
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification - willingness to obtain highly desired (fees covered)
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
- Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
- Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
