THE POSITION

We are looking for an experienced Senior Devops Engineer to join our Compute Operations engineering team in our Developer Lifecycle organization. The Compute Operations team works to create a scalable and reliable Compute substrate layer to support FanDuel’s large-scale complex application microservice architecture across several dozen target deployment locations under unique geographic and regulatory constraints. This team defines our compute substrate layer, Kubernetes cluster management, VM based stateful workloads, and maintains compute infrastructure as code assets.

We’re looking for passionate & experienced technologists, strong communicators, and those with a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have the confidence to propose pragmatic solutions to complex problems and be eager to both learn from and educate others. In the role of DevOps Engineer you will work amongst multidisciplinary teams, tackling complex problems to create world class infrastructure as we continuously build out our exciting and innovative developer experience.

• Champion standards and baselines for uplifting engineering across FanDuel.
• Build and maintain a reliable and performant compute substrate layer that supports an efficient developer lifecycle for our engineers.
