In this dynamic role, as a Senior Customer Quality Technology Manager, you will lead a team of Quality Technologists to drive the Global Customer Quality Technology Strategy and Transformation. Your efforts will focus on managing, strategizing, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance quality, ensure compliance, and reduce costs within Complaint Handling, Field Corrective Actions, and Product Hold Order processes.

The Customer Quality Technology team is dedicated to developing robust, intelligent technologies through strong collaboration with Customer Quality, Core Quality Services, GOSC, IT, and external vendors. Together, you will advance Customer Quality's vision of fostering positive patient outcomes, ensuring confident compliance, and leveraging scale through best-in-class processes and a culture of innovation.

Onsite

We’re working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. 

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead in collaboration with Program Leaders the development and deployment of the Next-Gen Customer Quality Complaint Handling Program, aligning business needs with program outcomes and long-term technology strategies.

  • Lead a global team of Software Engineers and Quality Application Specialists to deliver program outcomes, drive cost savings, ensure compliance, and implement preventative quality measures.

  • Develop a Strong Team Culture of high engagement and Collaboration, supporting team members on their development and growth with Medtronic.

  • Define and lead Customer Quality (CQ) Technology strategy across the enterprise, leveraging quality system architectures, automation, machine learning (ML), and AI in collaboration with CQ leadership, Core Quality Services, GOSC, IT, and external vendors.

  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to manage system releases, projects, and the execution of CQ system requirements.

  • Partner with CQ functions and stakeholders to drive process improvements and technology advancements across the Complaint Handling lifecycle.

  • Work with Medtronic’s AI teams to deliver ML/AI-driven solutions, reporting, and analytics.

  • Hold external vendors accountable to meet high standards for support and technology performance.

  • Develop and execute the Customer Quality technology roadmap and strategy to align with organizational goals

  • Conduct a compliant validation process for quality information technology systems which requires formal validation documentation (including standard operating procedures) under appropriate federal regulations.

  • Coordinate activities with clients, programmers/developers and operating personnel, domestic and, as appropriate, global.

  • Identify current and anticipated requirements for compliant computerized operations and suggest methods for the identification, implementation and maintenance of the procedures, actions and documentation necessary to assure compliance according to the appropriate federal and international regulations which govern the user's applications.

  • Report on the status of validation activities to fulfill regulatory requirements.

  • Keep abreast of changing federal and international regulatory requirements, government audit policies, and the availability of current techniques.

  • Perform system administration and configuration of quality information technology systems.

  • Travel requirement: less than 25%
