Tonkin Hillsboro Chevrolet, a top-performing and high-volume automotive dealership, has a rare and exciting opportunity! We are actively seeking an Automotive Sales BDC Manager to join our successful team.
As a high-volume Chevrolet dealership located in Hillsboro, OR, we’re looking for a motivated and experienced leader to manage and grow our Business Development Center (BDC). In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the BDC team, driving lead generation and appointment setting, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from online inquiry to showroom visit.
BDC Automotive Sales Manager Job Responsibilities
- Managing BDC staff including hiring, training, and performance oversight
- Monitoring and improving lead response times and follow-up processes
- Collaborating with the sales team to convert internet leads into in-store appointments
- Driving productivity, efficiency, and profitability through data-driven decision-making

Qualifications
BDC Automotive Sales Manager Qualifications
- Automotive BDC or Internet Sales experience required (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Management or team leadership experience in a dealership environment strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of CRM tools (e.g., VinSolutions, DealerSocket, Elead) and lead management strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — both verbal and written
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding appointment, show, and sales conversion goal
- Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
