Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Generative AI & Evaluations Platform (f/m/d)*

YOUR MISSION:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (f/m/d)*, you will work on Parloa’s Experimentation and Evaluation Platform and the models and software that power our generative AI products. You will work directly with product engineering and sales teams to help them evaluate and improve our AI Agents and the models that power them. You’ll build services that enable customers to evaluate AI Agents and run experiments. You’ll collaborate with Data Scientists to research and develop new product features - from testing new AI system optimisation frameworks to fine-tunning STT models on new languages and accents.

You’ll join the AI & Data Science Team, a collaborative group of Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists that own Parloa’s ML Platforms and Machine Learning models. The team is responsible for keeping Parloa at the forefront of research and development of Generative AI and AI Agent based products.

 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Take ownership of data science and machine learning projects that help us improve our generative AI product suite
• Collaborate with product engineering and sales to shape requirements and our product vision leveraging AI and LLMs in line with customer needs
• Execute machine learning projects end-to-end: understanding user-facing requirements, data gathering and transformation, exploratory data analysis, model productionization, maintenance and support, continuous improvement
• Shape our ML platform (ML / LLM Ops) by defining the requirements and/or designing and implementing parts of it in collaboration with our data platform and DevOps teams

Our Tech stack (AI & Data): Python, OpenAI, LangGraph, SQL, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Eventhubs (Kafka), PostHog, Databricks, DeltaLiveTables, Preset

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 7+ years of experience as a machine learning engineer
• Experience working with NLP, LLMs and information retrieval; experience with LLMs in a production environment is a strong plus
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience working with big data technologies (e.g. Spark) and using ML Ops platforms (e.g. MLFlow)
• Experience with owning the ML process end-to-end: from gathering requirements to experimentation to productionisation, monitoring and optimization.
• Experience in leading medium-sized technical projects (3-9 months roadmap)
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in English
