About the role

This is a seasonal position, 13 week contract, working on the Med Surg/Tele Unit - DAY SHIFT at Northwest Houghton Hospital! Great opportunity to earn an increased $$$ hourly rate in a temporary Seasonal contract position!

The RN selected for this role evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program required. BSN preferred.

Experience:

Sufficient previous clinical experience in area of expertise.

Licenses/Certifications:

Required -

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

BLS Basic Cardiac &ACLS(American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
