As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, oversight, and compliance of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements of Lunar Lander programs for the flight vehicles, subsystems, and facilities. You will engage with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Program teams to ensure compliance to design driven ESD requirements during processing. You will use your background to understand and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to guide priorities that support the requirements and operational needs.

Qualifications:
- 12-15+ years’ experience with electronics and/or ESD sensitive assemblies in the aerospace, electronics, or other manufacturing setting including defining and implementing requirements in a developmental environment.
- B.S. Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or similar.
- Experience with ANSI/ESD S20.20, 1.0
- Experience with NASA-STD-8739.10
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
- Aptitude for hands-on problem solving, with a passion for space systems.
- Identify tooling needs, pertaining to ESD, for a production environment
- Perform engineering drawing reviews and provide final approval for manufacturing
- Ensure build readiness in an ESD capacity
- Provide shipside/lineside support working directly with flight hardware
- Participate in anomaly investigations, root cause/corrective action analyses, and development/implantation of recovery plans
- Demonstrated ownership in your area of responsibility.
- Non-conformance report (NCR) generation, management, & closure
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Ability to support scheduled work shift (we may rotate shifts occasionally) and work off-shift (2nd or 3rd shifts), extended hours, and weekends if/when vital.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Must be physically able to:
- Support production floor activities.
- Climb stairs and work in small areas.
- Lift and carry 40 lbs.
Desired:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or similar) from an accredited college or university
- Extensive experience in New Product Development
- Experience with planning complex aerospace integrated assemblies.
