The National Associate Director, Quality Improvement, contributes to AHF's mission by being a liaison between the Director and staff. This position has responsibility for projecting and integrating the Mission and Core Values of the organization into the Quality Improvement Department process and functions. The National Associate Director of Quality Improvement is responsible for implementing and adhering to AHF’s Management Philosophies of mission driven, fairness, learning, hands-on, accountability and tenacity in this leadership role within Quality Improvement.
The National Associate Director, Quality Improvement, contributes to AHF’s mission by implementing a broad range of collaborative activities among private and public entities to improve health outcomes for all Medicare beneficiaries, Medicaid recipients/enrollees, Ryan White Grant clients and other third-party payer clients. This position works in collaboration with AHF Healthcare Centers nationwide. Within the duties of leading large-scale quality improvement initiatives, this position has the opportunity to measurably improve the health of People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA). In addition, this position’s involvement with nationally recognized accreditation agencies will allow AHF to serve its current population, with possible expansion in the future. Initiatives may include but not limited to quality measures for HEDIS, Star Ratings, MIPS and Ryan White for Plan and third party payers. The NCQA provides oversight and direction to insure the best possible results for all the performance excellence and quality initiatives throughout the organization. Within their duties of providing education, training, and improvement interventions for all levels of staff, this position has the opportunity to help maintain contract requirements, accreditation and maximize government incentives. In addition, this position’s role in maximizing
government incentives leads to opportunity for future expansion in managed care for AHF.
The position is responsible for projecting and integrating the Mission and Core Values of the organization into the Quality Management department process and functions.
This position supports the National Quality Director and the organization by leading and/or participating in projects and clinical interventions designed to make care safer, promote effective coordination of care and promote patient-centered, holistic preventative care.
