CMT Concrete Lab Technician

We are looking for a concrete Lab Technician to assist with construction materials testing (CMT) and sample tracking of materials used in exciting projects from infrastructure to hi-rises around the Dallas area! As a concrete lab technician, you will provide a vital step in the overall building process, ensuring that the structural materials used during construction meet all necessary quality benchmarks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Break concrete cylinders
• Test soil samples
• Label concrete cylinders, beams, prisms or cubes.
• Determine unit weights (if needed)
• Cap cylinders, prisms, and cubes
• Ensure specimens are cured properly and for the correct amount of time
• Enter row data into internal system for management’s review and reporting
• Monitor equipment for calibration purposes
• Report calibration status to management
