Overview: 

Weedmaps Fire Starter will be responsible for strengthening our brand's relationship with college life, community and culture. The Fire Starter will also assist the local Revenue and Marketing teams within their assigned territories. This role will execute to win our target group while remaining in direct contact with various consumers and customers, inviting user registration, helping establish Weedmaps app usage, supporting parties and events, working with influencers and opinion leaders and of course ensuring an unforgettable brand experience for consumers at Weedmaps events.

The impact you'll make:

• Delivers tailor-made activation plans to win our target group in the most relevant way thanks to your in-depth local knowledge.
• Remains in direct contact with various consumers and customers, inviting user registration, helping establish Weedmaps app usage, supporting our Marketing and Revenue teams, working with influencers and opinion leaders while ensuring an unforgettable brand experience for consumers at Weedmaps events. 
• Works with various opinion leaders in order to bring their ideas to life, they collectively play a big part in the local community to connect and share aspirational ideas.
• Collaborates on high impact plans and executes them into action.
• Creates engaging content on personal social handles.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders.
• Executes event demos, trainings, and retail appreciation days (RAD’s) with local Market Manager Lead.
• Holds a comprehensive understanding of the Weedmaps app and services and is able to effectively communicate the benefits.
• Helps manage visual placement within all assigned dispensary accounts and adjacent environments.

What you've accomplished:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• College student
• At least 21 years old per state law
• Must have a valid instate Driver's License
• Remain highly approachable and social with a natural ability to relate to different people in business and event settings
• Must have reliable transportation.
• General knowledge of cannabis (effects, products, chemistry, etc)
• General knowledge of computer skills
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Creative thinker
• Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm for success
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to consistently work non standard office hours

Bonus Points:

• Prefer 1 year of cannabis industry experience

The base pay range for this position is $25.00 per hour
