Golf Club General Manager

As the General Manager of the Plateau Club, you will provide hands on leadership, fiscal management, and strategic direction for both long and short-term business and strategic plans related to the overall facility growth and success. In partnership with the Oki Golf Director of Operations, you will set the fundamental initiatives of the facility and establish business objectives, ensuring alignment with Oki Golf annual initiatives, core values and Universal Standards.


COMPENSATION DETAILS:
• Offered base rate of pay range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year
• Eligible for annual bonus equal to 15% of total base salary amount: $16,500 - $19,500*
• Total possible annual compensation: $126,500 - $149,500
*bonus eligibility based on meeting property, company financial goals

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver excellent guest experience by being responsive in a timely and courteous manner
• Develop innovative ideas to facilitate the continual delivery of exceptional quality
products and profit contributions to the company
• Ensure all team members are well trained in all aspects of guest service.
• Ensure company assets are well protected
• Ensure all programs are effectively promoted through the use of collateral material
and communication
• Recruit, hire and train team members in accordance with operating procedures
• Understand and value individual growth and development as well as formulate strategies for
growth and development of team members
• Hold all team members accountable for their areas of responsibility
• Drive results through others, providing the appropriate training to subordinates
• Maintain open lines of communication between all departments working together to ensure
the highest level of guest experience
• Continually look to increase revenue through creatively managing business operations,
building and maintaining relationships with members, guests and community
leaders
• Develop and maintain community outreach/networking opportunities.
• Ensure cost control systems are in place and monitored on a weekly basis.
• Ensure all operations are consistent with the Oki Golf and property brand standards

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
• Three or more years leadership experience in a general manager level role at a $2m
property or greater
• Minimum of $750k in food and beverage revenues to include restaurants, banquets &
outlets.
• Proven experience hiring, engaging, and developing talent
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
as to course of action
• Able to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments
• Must have the ability to adapt to change, be flexible and empathetic
• Demonstrated initiative – ability to think, work, and make independent decisions based on
sound judgment
• Ability to operate an Oki Golf property from an entrepreneurial perspective
