Job Description

The Analyst, Scheduling Systems will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of patient access tools including, but not limited to, online self-scheduling and referral management. The Analyst will work collaboratively with Clinical, Product, and IT leadership to manage the application's go-live and roll-out of new technologies to support strategic initiatives around growth and access. The Analyst will manage changes to the system when requested by Clinical leadership in a timely fashion. The position will also be responsible for producing reports on a regular cadence about the utilization of the various online systems.

What can you expect to do in your role as an analyst?

  • Works collaboratively with the Director of Access and leadership across administrative and clinical departments to design workflows for patient self-scheduling, virtual registration, and centralized scheduling
  • Mine data from multiple sources, to discover key analytical insights for decision support.
  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the online scheduling system including regular changes to provider templates, locations, and departments.
  • Monitor system analytics to identify opportunities for optimization including conversion rate, question drop rate, length of each interaction, etc.
  • Utilizes project management to provide regular updates on the status of tasks.
  • Interact directly with physicians and staff to develop positive relationships and generate excitement about the implementation of new workflows.
  • Build and continuously monitor reports and dashboards to track key quality and efficiency metrics.
  • Conduct analysis, including benchmark and performance forecasts.
  • Assesses report requirements and completes the build of Workday reporting solutions.
  • Develop business and technical requirements for database and system development.
  • Ability to independently gather requirements from non-technical business & clinical workforce members and synthesize requirements into a technical specification for development by technical resources.
  • Collaborates with functional stakeholders to assess reporting needs, gather specifications/requirements, and design reports, trending scorecards, and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain ad-hoc and scheduled operational reports that assist leadership in driving visit growth and ensuring adequate patient access.
  • Participates in acceptance testing activities of relevant applications/products to ensure design objectives are met

Skills for success

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • 1 - 3 years’ healthcare experience is required. Knowledge of physician practice operations is preferred. Master of Public Health, Health Administration, or related advanced degree will be considered a replacement for healthcare experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to develop new reporting and analytics in a unique environment.
