The fellowship is a full-time position that entails project-related research and activities. This position is for twelve months and includes the possibility of renewing for a second twelve-months, conditional on performance and availability of funding. Start date is flexible between now and September 2024. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Purpose
The Williamson Lab in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences is seeking a postdoctoral scholar with a PhD in Psychology, Human Development and Family Sciences, Sociology, or a related discipline. The postdoctoral fellow will work with multiple ongoing studies, including an observational study of low-income unmarried new parents, an RCT of relationship education for low-income couples, and two intervention studies of adolescent sexual/relationship education.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and lead manuscripts for publication using existing data.
- Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
- Prepare reports for sponsors.
- Disseminate research findings through presentations at meetings and conferences.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Doctoral Degree in Psychology, Human Development and Family Sciences, Sociology, or related field. PhD to be received no more than three years prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Substantive research interest and a publication record in the research area(s) of couple relationships and relationship interventions.
- Demonstrated expertise with quantitative data, including longitudinal and/or dyadic data analysis.
- Effective time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to work both independently and collaborate with a team as needed.
