Job Description

Revalize Software is looking for a highly analytical, creative and forward-thinking finance leader to join our global finance team as VP FP&A. This position will report to the CFO and offers the opportunity to work in a high paced, growth-oriented PE backed software company.   S/He will be responsible for developing and managing various financial reporting, business analysis, modelling and forecasting activities that will help effectively manage and improve the financial performance while scaling the company’s growth.   

This finance leader will be responsible for helping to improve the effectiveness of the FP&A organization including making improvements to the accuracy and meaningfulness of the various financial planning and reporting processes including the effectiveness of the financial planning tools.   

The VP FP&A will also be responsible for developing monthly and quarterly reporting and business analysis related to the performance of the company including BOD presentations and reporting to the Private Equity owners. 

The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, lead a team of finance professionals, tackle multiple projects, and efficiently execute on deliverables. The right individual will have strong leadership skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and lead the company-level financial and business analysis related to month-end and quarterly reporting, including reporting to PE owners, BOD meetings and monthly business review meetings with business leaders.   
  • Lead all financial planning activities including monthly recurring revenue projections, quarterly forecasts and annual operating plan.  Assist with establishing and meeting key reporting and planning deadlines. 
  • Partner with business leaders to assist with managing financial performance and tracking functional performance toward financial objectives.  Meet with business leaders on a weekly basis to review financial results and expenditure trends.   
  • Assist with transitioning the financial planning and analysis processes related to acquisitions including working with the Group VPs to establish operating plans.  Also, establishes synergy tracking to ensure synergies identified in the deal model are achieved. 
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial plans and business analysis as needed to help highlight current trends and performance metrics of the company. Understand what to highlight and what level of detail is required while presenting to senior executives. 
  • Lead, guide and develop a team of finance professionals.
  • Lead certain initiatives for continued development of budgeting, forecasting and flash processes using relevant tools. 

Qualifications

  • At least 12 years of progressive FP&A experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a finance team.   
  • Experience in global software/SaaS industry required.  
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred. 
  • Experience leading an annual budgeting and forecasting process is required. 
  • Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Netsuite Planning and Budgeting etc.) 
  • General understanding of US GAAP including ASC 605 / ASC 606 required. 
  • M&A experience, including post-acquisition integration experience preferred.
