Senior Phlebotomist - Providence St. Peter Hospital - OLYMPIA, WA
$2,500 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
SCHEDULE: 0.9 FTE; 72 hours every 2 weeks. DAY SHIFT. 8am-4:30pm PST. Every other weekend requirement (Sat & Sun).
A Senior Phlebotomist is responsible for clinical laboratory duties. This includes blood draws, performing EKGs, cross training in specimen processing. High paced and high volume, supporting patients across the hospital system.
Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training program meeting requirements to become licensed as a MA-P or MA-C in Washington State.
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.
- 2 years of experience in a clinical lab setting.
- Experience 7 of the basic skills described in the essential functions of the job description.
