Summary of Job Duties:

This role will provide support, in direct coordination with the Primary Investigator (PI), for the Biomolecular Simulations Group to coordinate ongoing and future projects in the lab by ensuring standard operating procedures in timely execution of projects, collaboration within the lab members and with the external collaborators, integrity of data collected, management of the computational and other resources available to the lab, organizing inter- and intra-group meetings, developing data management plans and mentoring plans. The project coordinator will be responsible for assigning and monitoring weekly tasks of all group members, as well as creating reports and updates for the projects on a periodic manner to ensure the execution of projects in a timely manner.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or higher in a STEM field such as science, engineering, or a similar field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS or higher in business administration, operations management, or a similar field

  • Familiarity with computational methods
