Your Key Responsibilities

• Technically lead the IE activities for acquisitions and development projects in N.A. as part the global Schaeffler IE network
• Lead process development, costing, investment and industrialization activities for NA product development
• Initiate and manage new process developments in the region to increase competitiveness
• Lead the cooperation with internal and external functions such as plant segments, special machinery equipment and process engineering providers
• Provide data for the budgeting process for TMM related plants within the global TMM organization
• Coordinate productivity improvement and technical savings activities within the region
• Coordinate and lead prototype manufacturing and procurement within the Schaeffler network
• Act as the TMM IE advocate: represent NA in the global TMM IE network and in the NA e-mobility network

Your Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, preferably manufacturing engineering
• Minimum 6 year experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proven background in plastics manufacturing processes, e.g. plastic injection molding, welding and assembly
• 3 year experience in a manufacturing or engineering
• Proven to be able to achieve results in a global matrix organization including EU and AP
• Open to medium travel overseas and regular travel to Mexico
• Spanish as a second language would be preferred
