Primary Duties and Responsibilities

UCLA Health is seeking to hire a Clinic Manager to join our Orthopaedic Surgery Department. You will oversee all administrative and academic functions of the Patient Care Coordinators across the Orthopaedic Surgery Clinics. Primary duties include:

  • Direct day-to-day operation assisting patients throughout the clinic
  • Oversight of staff and operations of the front desk and back offices
  • Recruit, select, hire, and train of staff
  • Track employee schedules and performance
  • Establish and implement departmental goals and objectives
  • Ensure all PDL escalations and patient issues are appropriately routed and resolved
  • Prepare administrative reports
  • Other supervisory duties as assigned

Salary range: $68,800/yr - $141,000/yr

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)Minimum 5 years experience working in a clinical, health care settingMinimum 1 year of orthpaedic clinical experience (preferred)Knowledge of orthopaedic terminology3-5 years of experience in a healthcare supervisory/managerial roleStrong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skillsSkill in setting priorities and organizing workflow to maximize efficiency and meet deadlinesAbility to communicate and interact effectively with diverse audiences at levels of the organization and campus
