Acentra is currently looking for a Program Management Director to join our growing team.

 As the Washington MMIS Program Management Director, you will be in a key leadership role providing managerial oversight for a sophisticated and complex state program. You will oversee a team, budget, and processes and engage directly with customer and matrixed Acentra Health staff to ensure best-of-class delivery of Operations and Maintenance support, including enhancement projects, on schedule and within budget. 

 Responsibilities

  • Direct, manage, plan, and develop methods and procedures for operating and maintaining the complex ProviderOne solution and associated infrastructure  
  • Oversee and exercise independent judgment to solve complex and unusual technical, administrative, and managerial problems 
  • Maintain successful relationships with clients, suppliers, and various stakeholders at operational through executive levels 
  • Drive program activities and exercise control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of a program 
  • Engage the entire team to ensure individual and team expectations are clear for all functions and phases of the ProviderOne solution 
  • Provide program management for team sizes that are typically more than 150 employees  
  • Provide program and budget management for a program with an annual total contract value of more than $40M and commensurate complexity 
  • Manage program risk ensuring project requirements, deliverables, and timelines are adhered to.  
  • Execute project close activities accurately and on time 
  • Determine the estimated time and financial commitment of operations and maintenance, and monitor progress for multiple initiatives concurrently 
  • Partner with customers and analyze issues and problems from the customer's perspective 
  • Develop detailed status reports for both Acentra Health and the customer 
  • Lead transformation and change management initiatives pertaining to the Program/Project Management team and overall Acentra business strategy objectives, working closely with senior management 

 

Required Qualifications and Experience

  •  Prior experience in Operations and Project management within the WA MMIS program 
  • 15+ years’ experience in project planning and delivery as related to role 
  • 10+ years’ experience in managerial and leadership roles 
  • Medicare, Medicaid, or healthcare verticals domain knowledge with claims processing experience 
  • Demonstrated abilities with Microsoft Project, SharePoint applications, and MS Teams 
  • Proven track record in collaboration with Customer and Acentra Health staff, setting and engaging contributors in meeting deadlines, leading investigations and creating paths forward for diverse technology issues and products, and getting the job done 
  • Demonstrated successful people management and presentation skills 
  • Current or prior Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
