It provides a platform for managing translations of software, websites, mobile apps, and other digital content. Overall, Lokalise helps businesses improve their time-to-market, increase translation quality, and reduce costs associated with localization.

We need you!

We are looking for a Quality Engineer, to join our Software Engineering team and help improve the overall speed, quality and efficiency across the Engineering team through scalable and innovative testing tools and test infrastructure.

You will:

• Research and develop scalable and reliable automated test frameworks and new testing levels (visual testing, performance, contract)
• Develop test cases and create automation tests for new features/services
• Ensure continuous improvement of test automation and infrastructure
• Help define, document and implement best practices, policies, and guidelines
• Help provide technical guidance and expertise to the rest of the quality engineering team
• Work closely with different stakeholders in Product and the Engineering team to identify, discuss, align and deliver internal teams’ needs
• Work on a cutting-edge product that accelerates growth and efficiency for companies around the globe

You must have:

• Strong web software testing experience and a good awareness of concepts
• 3+ years of proven experience in test automation (preferably using JS/TS stack)
• A good understanding of OOP design practices and page object patterns
• An understanding of client-server architecture
• Advanced knowledge of functional and non-functional testing
• Good knowledge of Git
• Strong communication and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent English verbal and writing skills

It will be considered a significant advantage if you have:

• Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, and Puppeteer
• JMeter, Gatling, k6 or any other experience in performance testing
• Some experience working with Platform, Enablement or Developer Experience teams
• Some exposure to observability tools to explain technical behaviors
