Maintenance Technician II

Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00

Schedule Options: Day (8 AM-4:30 PM) or Night (4PM-12:30 AM)

Location: Summer Bay Orlando by Exploria Resorts

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician II will report directly to the Chief of Engineering. This position's role is to maintain all guestrooms and public areas to the utmost satisfaction of our guests and Exploria Company standards. The Maintenance Technician II must also be proficient in all requirements of Maintenance Technician I.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly manner.
• Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to preservation of Company assets in a safe, cost- effective manner.
• Requires advanced knowledge of maintenance skills.
• Requires ability to handle all aspects of hotel/resort maintenance.
• Requires general knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair, appliance repair and plumbing.
• Completing daily work orders in a timely manner.
• Requires self-motivation and organizational skills.
• Requires ability to be available for emergency repairs.
• Must perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Requires minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be punctual, dependable and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Bilingual in English
