Job Location: Essex - Sayreville - Sayreville, NJ 08872Position Type: SeasonalSalary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly

We are hiring a reliable, team-oriented Class A CDL Truck Driver in the Sayreville, NJ area for a temporary, local position - starting rate from $30 (based on experience). Monday through Friday with a 7 AM start time, home every night! Overtime after 40 hours per week. Drivers in this position are responsible for transporting palletized dry food ingredients between our warehouse locations in a safe and timely manner to facilitate distribution center move. 

*This position is a temporary role beginning in January until warehouse transition is completed*

Position Details:

• Deliver pre-loaded trailers to new warehouse location, drop loaded trailer, and hook up empty trailer for return trip to facilitate warehouse move beginning in January
• Perform pre & post trip inspections daily on assigned vehicles, complete the associated forms and file accordingly.
• All trucks are newer with full maintenance leases kept in good condition
• Adhere to the companies ‘Driver’s Handbook’ policies and procedures.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations

 

Shift and Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 7 AM start time
• Overtime after 40 hours worked
• Home daily!
• Position is temporary, approximately 60 days until warehouse move is completed

 

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year verified experience required, 2-3 years experience preferred
• Manual Transmission experience required
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License A (CDL A)
• Clean MVR and accident history
• Stable work history
• Current DOT medical card
• Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds
