The opportunity
EY is looking for a Senior Auditor to join our FSO Assurance team. In this context, you will acquire the experience and skill set necessary to become a leader of the future whilst delivering high quality and efficient audits and projects. We offer you the opportunity to get acquainted with a large variety of clients, most of them are well established brands with an international reach.

 

Your key responsibilities
• Be part of audit projects in a variety of financial services industries (Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets and Asset Management).
• Completing audit processes and documenting higher risk areas.
•Audit of accounting & financial reporting information. 
•Analyse financial statements.
•Make an informed decision about the validity of financial statements.
•Inventory stocks to validate inventory quantities.
•Identify and react to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes.
•Translating complex data from a range of sources into client-ready insights and deliverables.
•Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues. 
• Understanding our clients’ unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible. 
•Supporting the team management. 
•Contributing to the team’s good productivity and motivation with good communication and cooperation to guarantee the best result.

To qualify for the role, you must have
•Academic Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, or similar fields of study
•At least 3 years of work experience in audit roles, mainly in consulting environment working with financial services clients.  
•Strong Accounting knowledge. 

 

Ideally, you’ll also have
•Some experience in coordinating small teams of more junior elements.  
•Full English proficiency.
•Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments.
