Job Description

As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Driver in Cookeville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor alarms and cameras, and document activity while delivering clear, professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at an industrial location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at gates, guard shacks, and/or entry points by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges when authorized, logging arrivals and departures, and directing traffic to approved areas.
• Conduct security-related screening of vehicles, deliveries, and packages as required by site policy, including documentation checks and directing loads to designated receiving areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using radio communications, incident documentation, and timely notification to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and site hazards, then report findings per procedure.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
