What the Registered Nurse Team Lead II does at Worldwide
The Registered Nurse Team Lead II under the guidance of the Medical Group Manager is responsible for protecting the health, safety and welfare of research participants by observing strict adherence to local, state and federal regulations, Worldwide Clinical Trials (WCT) policies and procedures and the Nurse Practice Act. The Nurse Team Lead II will assist the Medical Group Manager in administrative duties as delegated by the manager. This may include participation in team evaluations, providing feedback and input in disciplinary actions, approval of timecards with strict adherence to WCT policy. The Nurse Team Lead II will act as a master trainer and resource to RN Team Lead I, Staff RNs and Paramedics in setting up and, performing various study related procedures they will provide direction and indirect supervision for to the Medical Group team to include RNs, Paramedics, phlebotomists, and technical staff in the absence of a FT Supervisor. They will adhere to all Worldwide Clinical Trials (WCT) procedures and study protocol requirements.
What you will do
Under the direction of Worldwide Leadership, oversees the hiring, performance and activities of all medical group team members.
Oversees Oversight of all study procedures to ensure they are performed on time, following the study protocol and WCT EPS procedures.
As a Team Lead, acts as the intermediary between medical group team and Medical Director, Coordinator, and/or Principal Investigator as needed.
Acts as supervisor for all floor staff in the absence of a Full-Time Manager.
Assists with on-going in-process and retro-active quality improvement process by identifying supplemental training needs and ensuring its’ completion.

De-escalation and customer service skills.
Good documentation and organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Excellent critical thinking and delegation skills.
Expert knowledge and skills in performing technical and laboratory procedures; performing phlebotomy, vital signs, ECGs, and laboratory procedures acting as a resource for team.
Your experience
Required: Associate’s degree in nursing with current licensure/certification with a minimum of 4 years nursing experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing with current licensure/certifications along with 2-3 years of supervisory experience and 3 years of clinical research experience.
