Jr. Financial Analyst

Black Book is proud to begin the recruitment for an entry level Junior Financial Analyst, who possesses that unique talent and skill set of supporting the entire organization from a cash analysis perspective.  This is a very rare and unique opportunity to join not only Black Book, but also Hearst Transportation and the Hearst Organization.

Position Summary:

Ultimately the Jr Financial Analyst’s responsibility is to collect, monitor and study financial data to assist with reporting, account reconciliation and expense tracking. Additional analysis and special projects as defined by management.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities:

• Proficiency of Advantage Computing finance system, to include customer account maintenance and payment processing
• Administration of digital product access / demo for direct and licensing customers
• Assist with tracking corporate monthly expenses and invoice coding
• Conduct monthly corporate Pcard tracking, reporting and reconciliation
• Review business activities, make recommendations for change or improvements
• Provide report standardization and statement of processes
• Conduct daily finance system reporting review, auditing, and balancing
• Assist with bi-monthly renewal and past due invoice printing / postal metering
• Additional A/R, A/P and Administrative office functions as required

 Our Ideal Candidate:

 Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Proficient in all MS-Office applications
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

 Preferred:

• 2+ years of work experience in Finance functions
• Excellent research, quantitative, and analytical skills
• Great communication and presentation skills – written and oral
• Proven track record of providing excellent data analysis
• Good interpersonal skills, detail oriented, self-motivated and organized
• Oracle Applications Software experience an added plus
• Advantage Computing Systems software experience a plus
