Design Engineer (ARNG)

WWC Federal is seeking a Design Engineer to serve on a potential effort supporting ARNG in their construction efforts. This position is remote.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate understanding of construction change order validation principles.
• Ability to draft cogent technical and professional memorandums and correspondence.
• Ability to to communicate technical principles.
• Ability to read 1390/91s.
• Demonstrate understanding of processing DD Form 1354, NGB 86-R, NGB-86-R, MCCA, and DD Form 593.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of MILCOM plans and specification review.
• Ability to provide comprehensive criteria, specification, and engineering plan reviews in order to provide advice to the FME throughout the design lifecycle.

Expected salary range: $80,000 - $120,000

This position is contingent on contract award.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Travel:

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree.
• Ability to favorably pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
• 3 years ARNG CFMO/DCFMO, or ARNG project management experience.
• Possess Construction Management Facility Management Office experience.
• Background in design engineering.
• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering or Architecture.
