Clinical Assistant - PACE/Elderplace

This position will be supporting our Glendoveer site.

The Clinical Assistant is responsible for the flow of patients seen in the PACE centers. This position coordinates room set-up and clean-up. As well, this position assists with obtaining vital signs, capillary blood glucose (CBG) results and other information needed for patient visits; completes labs requests, including performing phlebotomy as needed; assists with the personal care of patients; and documents care given.

Required Qualifications: 

• Coursework/Training: Completion of an approved phlebotomy program or other allied health program that includes phlebotomy training in its curriculum.    
• Coursework/Training: Medical terminology training or equivalent educ/experience
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months of experience including phlebotomy function.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
