Working within the Talent team, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all aspects of assigned projects in support of talent initiatives throughout the full project life cycle from initiation through close. The PM is responsible for assembling project teams, coordinating assignment of individual responsibilities, developing the project plan, schedule, tasks and deliverables to ensure timely project completion. During project execution, the PM will be an active participant in all aspects of the project and is also accountable for managing issues and risks, facilitating change requests, providing status reports and other duties as assigned. The PM is expected to manage projects utilizing established PMI and project management best practices and standards. The PM ensures all stakeholders are identified and appropriately engaged in the project life cycle. The responsibilities of this role require strong organizational and critical thinking skills. The ability to plan ahead, anticipate issues and communicate professionally is necessary to be successful.

Responsibilities:
- Partner strategically with assigned internal clients (i.e. stakeholder, sponsor) to support medium to complex short- and long-term projects, simultaneously.
- Identify and execute appropriate communication methods to provide the appropriate stakeholders with the status of projects. Consistently and accurately review and maintain documentation to identify, evaluate, scope, plan, monitor, and follow up on active projects.
- Continually identify, assess, monitor, and communicate the issues and risks of a project/activity to the appropriate stakeholder.
- Operate in a self-directed manner, identifying and addressing risk mitigation, process improvement, and support needs affecting the successful delivery of project.
- Develop and execute project plans for enterprise talent initiatives. Revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Recognize the risk and determine the appropriate corrective action to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope. Monitor issues and risk response plan.
- Collaboration with appropriate talent leadership and stakeholders to ensure deliverables and resource requirements are properly planned for and that projects are delivered on time.
- Facilitate cross functional project teams and stakeholder meetings, communications and follow up.
- Create and maintain project documentation. Working with leadership and other team members, develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. Identify and track project issues, providing regular status updates within the project team until resolved.
- Complete assigned projects effectively and efficiently; and maintain a high level of proficiency by delivering high quality work on time; review own work and the work of others prior to completion.
- Provide ongoing project support, oversight, and process adherence for assigned projects.
- Provide effective guidance to employees and/or team members through planning appropriate resources, communicating performance expectations. Effectively delegate to and leverage project team members to help meet business objectives. Communicate performance expectations, provide real-time project feedback, coaching, training, developing, and providing career growth activities
- Work to provide analysis, development and documentation of improvement opportunities; this may include implementation and training components
- Provide oversight and advocacy for the effective efficient use of internal systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned
